Las Vegas is the place to go for if you'd like to travel pretty much everywhere in one trip! It has France, Italy, Egypt, New York, and so much more and I'll be introducing these places in the next couple paragraphs.
Transportation
Since I live pretty close the Nevada state I was able to drive there in about 5 hours, but if traffic is light usually it would take only about 4 hours. If you live no within a driving distance I suggest you take a plane or maybe even drive and do a road trip and visit all the states you come across while getting to your destination.
Where I Stayed
I stayed at Mandalay Bay during my stay in Las Vegas for about 4 days because it was during the weekend of my spring break. I'd say that Mandalay Bay is a kid friendly place because it has a wave pool and a lazy river for the people that stay there for free. Others that are not staying at that hotel would have to pay to get in. Although, there are still casinos in the hotel but the rooms are smoke free because smoking is prohibited on certain floors of the hotel so the stench of smoke will not linger in your hotel room.
Eateries
1. Mr. Mamas
This is my favorite place to get breakfast in Vegas, its delicious! I love their french toast because its nice and moist, not to eggy, and have great toppings, classic but so good like strawberries and whipped cream. They also have great pancakes almost as good as the french toast and they're humungous!
2. Venetian Bakery
Gelato! They have wonderful gelato here, if you don't know what that is, its an Italian treat very similar to ice cream. I was able to enjoy this on one of the warm days while I was in Las Vegas right under the shade on the bridge at the Venetian, along the strip from my Hotel at Mandalay Bay which was not too far. It was a nice treat after a day of swimming at the pool and another great way to cool down and watch the cars go by and think of what to do next in this busy city.
3. The M Buffet
I'd have to say out of all the buffets I've ever been to in Las Vegas, since this is the place to go for a buffet, I'd have to go with the M Buffet. They have a huge selection of different foods to eat from different areas of the world such as Asian, American, Italian, and many different other cultures of foods to eat there. Along with the variety of food, they also have wonderful quality, from their sushi to their desserts, everything there is delicious!
Sight Seeing
1. Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
This a definitely a place to take a picture of to cross off of your bucket list because its very iconic and a great way to place in maybe an album of all the places you've traveled to, or maybe just to post a picture on Instagram. It can be a great way to make memories with your family and remember them with this picture which is probably one of the most essential things when you visit this city. During the day time the sign looks like how it does in the picture above and during night time the lights on the sign turn on which are absolutely beautiful. You choose which time of day you'd like to take the picture best, or you can do both even!
2. M&M Factory
I love this place going with my family and seeing so many M&Ms! After all, there are not very many of these so you might wanna see this place while you're in Vegas. It might not be what you're expecting, though, for some reason the word "factory" in the name made me think that we would be seeing M&Ms being made and that's it, but nope there are other things to do there. Basically the whole store is a gift shop for M&Ms with M&M towels, mugs, sunglasses, shirts, and of course M&Ms. There's a HUGE selection of M&Ms like mint flavored, peanut, original, and there's even a machine where you can choose what design you want on the M&M.
3. Mandalay Bay
As I've said before in "Where I Stayed," Mandalay Bay is a great place to cool down since there are several pools there, a giant wave pool, and a lazy river including a waterfall! This was probably my absolutely favorite sight seeing or activity I did in Las Vegas.
